Google has launched wozaonline.co.za just a few hours ago, their new initiative to get South African businesses online free of charge, with a lot of added features and goodies. What does this mean for the Digital Marketing Professional or Agency?
So who is behind this great idea? Google partnering with Vodacom, DTI and HRDC has made it possible for all businesses to get online with ease and to help make sure these businesses generate great success with their online presence. But what about the digital marketing professional, web developer and web design professionals?
When signing up it really does take about 45 minutes to complete the process and whala your business and website is online and live. There are also some really cool free built-in features at no extra cost to make running your business easier and help with advertising startups.
Here are some of the awesome features:
There has already been a few success stories, let's have a look at Quentin Duncan that had great success with WOZA Online. This is a business based in Johannesburg called the mushroom factory. Look at the video below for more details:
Well I say lets use this to our advantage and those businesses that want to get online free with Google, no problem we can still sell our services to help promote these new websites or even do it for the customer as a separately sold service. iLead will surely help you if you looking to go this way, and remember as much as the end-user can learn free from Google it's the experts that will always get you the best results when it comes to rankings, lead generations and over all ROI.

I have been developing free websites for over 5 years, and using a combination of different, totally free, international service providers have come up with some awesome results (see www.stonesphere.tk). This is what the product should provide!! For interested parties I have placed all my knowledge in a "how to step by step guide" on a website aptly named www.mahhalawebsites.tk which is a free service to the community, it is really easy to use.
We'll probably find a way to work around this as entrepreneurs, but I still think it's a punk move from Google's side.
