So when it comes to digital marketing campaigns it is also clear that sales generation and lead generation is the two most important objectives. For B2B lead generation is most important and B2C sales generation is the most important.

Interesting enough the success of digital marketing campaigns are measured mostly with the amount of website traffic when it comes to B2B and B2C. Secondly they look at sales or leads that were generated. I feel this can be debated and I still believe that your conversion rate and total conversions is most important regardless of the traffic your site received. At the end of the day I feel when looking at you ROI money speaks the loudest and of course profitable money made.

When looking at which social network is most active when it comes to B2B and B2C brands, well then Facebook is the overall winner with Twitter coming in second and LinkedIn 3rd. So when it comes to businesses serving consumers then they are the most active on Facebook, makes sense seeing Facebook is the number one website worldwide when it comes to traffic.

And when it comes to plans for 2012 and where marketers are planning to spend more money then Social Media wins through and through. I also foresee more and more digital marketing companies will focus on social media platforms in rich interactive media like videos, surveys and webinars.
